Sunbeam S8 Extended Front Brake Arm Lever 65-5907

Sunbeam S8 Extended Front Brake Arm Lever 65-5907. An extended front brake arm, to suit the single sided brake assembly.

Laser cut in 5mm A2 304 Stainless Steel. Consequently requiring some de-burring. Also, fitment is at the discretion and responsibility of the buyer.

The part no. is for reference  only. This arm is increased by 20mm on its centres (new centres 4- 5/16″) to give greater braking efficiency and feel. I have used one of these for six years. The brake cable adjusting locknut had to be refitted to below adjuster housing (see wheel photo) to allow for cable difference,

It is to fit the 7/16″ AF square section brake cam, I’m told this leaver will fit other models, but please check your brake cam dimensions and orientation prior to ordering.
The cable mounting hole is increased in diameter to take a 5/16″ clevis pin.

The tri-square cam mount is parallel to arm centre and the cable mounting hole increased in diameter to take a 5/16″ pin (not supplied)
